Monitor and Control from Your Laptop or PC
The Schlage LiNK application uses familiar icons to help you navigate through the Schlage LiNK application keeping you in touch with your home. It lets you easily check the status of your lock and change the settings of components on your home system.
- When you open the application, you’ll see a picture of your home.
- Outfit each door with a Schlage LiNK lock, and you’ll see the lock status and remaining battery life.
- User information tab—for each lock, see all the users who have individual codes for that lock. This area also allows you to add new users and codes. Check the alert button next to each user to have a text message sent to you when they use their code. Disable all codes while you’re away on vacation to prevent entry to your home with a code.
- Camera tab—shows each activated camera. When you click on the small image, you’ll get a real-time view of the area the camera is focused on.
- Lights tab—shows all of the lights connected to your Schlage LiNK System. You can turn each light off or on or dim or brighten the light.
- Climate tab—adjust your home temperature if you have a Z-Wave enabled thermostat.
- Scenes tab—control scenes you’ve created. Scenes are special configurations of different components, triggered by a specific event. A configuration might include enter a door code to open the door, which turns on the living room lights. You can also add or edit a scene.
- Schedules tab—enable or disable a schedule that controls your scenes. You can control scenes by time, effectively creating a schedule of events using a calendar.
- Events tab—review a 90-day history of activity in your Schlage LiNK System. See who has accessed the lock , when the thermostat was changed and much more.
